PostSubject: GENERAL CHAT   September 24th 2009, 04:57

Just a place for general chat, and to keep the picture page just for pictures of the UK bikes, so as not to spoil the flow of the pictures, one liners on picture page should be ok, I still intend to post and watch the main site, but this UK section will be good to inform UK riders of any meets and rideouts, but I am a bit of a wimp, so as we get closer to winter, I tend to hibernate, dont mind the cold, but dont like the rain, also her indoors keeps me on a tight lead, but thats enough about my sex life, if anyone else has any ideas for this site, please post, the Ozzies next door seem to be making more use of their section, than us, well will sign off for now.
Regards Keith UK Smile

Yes Mate,
But its Not a recall as such.
I went in a said it sounded like somthing was loose so it was booked in and checked. Nothing was wrong which is good as the 2 years are up next week
I was told that all the bolts had had lock tight on, But the factory made a mistake and a very small number of B kings where missed so suzuki sent out a letter to all dealer, saying this.
Which I READ Yesterday at the dealers saying a small number had been missed or what ever
So Crescent Suzuki at Bournmouth did it for free and will back Charge Suzuki GB. for the time it took and the new Gasket.

So I am a Happy Chap.

Mick/Mal
you both missed a great day out on Sunday, sun came out about 1pm, lots of people giving waves and hand touches, on route after going over bridge, never touched so many pretty girls in my life, good job I had my helmet on, there must have been around 5000 bikers there, mostly Harleys, some of the Harley guys sat on my bike, took a few pics of it, and liked the sound when I reved it up for them, was told that was prob last Hog The Bridge, as new top lady cop dont like bikes, says its got to big, and wants to ban it.
I did see two black B Kings down there, but never got the chance to chat to them, I have had a good offer for my bike, so thinking of getting an ABS King from the States, just got to look into the cost, and how much taxes I will have to pay on it over here.
Regards Keith

I did see only two black B Kings, after crossing the bridge and went on that short run to Chepstow, passed a petrol station and there was a B King with rider in there, I hooted but he took no notice, a little later he came flying by me on double white lines, I then did the same to him, and pulled just in front of him, still no reaction, he then passed me, but no wave or any reaction at all, was that you, if so you need to go to specsaver if you cant see a B King parked right in front of you, or maybe charm school, the other B King I saw was parked up by a roundabout, with a big built chap with a goaty beard sat on the wall, was that you, I did toot but he did not hear, maybe none of them was you, I guess you could have been long gone by then, I crossed the bridge around 12.o clock.
Mick
sorry you could not make it, maybe another time, if I still have the bike.

I mean the time between selling my bike, and getting one in from the States, I am not the quickest for getting round to doing things, I will try to get on to C&E today to see what sort of taxes I will have to pay, I dont want it on a Q plate, so more money to pay out there.
