Hi all, due for renewal at the moment. Shopping around has given me a quote from Tesco's at £120 fully Comp. I am 35 and have 5 years no claims. The provider is Axa so I will be contacting them direct next to see if they shave a little more off. Very Happy

I am with AXA through Suzuki insurance. £150-00 with 5 years no claims. Would have been max no claims except for me falling of and making it a write of my GSX1400. That is with a clean licence

makes you wonder why there is so much of a price difference...

I looked into insurance once with a guy who sells it..

he stated

they buy block insurance and break it up and sell portions of it to customers

depending on claims makes the insurance they buy go up and down and they pass this onto customers (Yeah right)

the more younger clients they get the more money the insurer (Broker) gets

they make more money on Third party fire and theft as the customer can only claim against another insurer not there own

they are all pirates and theifs...

personally why don't they sell five years of insurance and you get one year free if no claims

that would be nice Very Happy

I am with AXA two years no claims, I have had bikes most of my life, but had a break of two years, so lost all my no claims, and had to start again, they said if I had bought a old moped and insured it for peanuts, I would have kept my max no claims bonus, still live and learn, so at the moment with AXA I pay £180 fully comp, but have to pay the first £500 of any claims.
Regards Keith
