PostSubject: Just found the forum!   February 23rd 2010, 20:40

Happy days! An Aussie section on a B-King forum...

Hey everyone. Had my black B-King since Sept. 2008. Managed to pick it up as a 1,000km demo for $16,000 ride away. I was STOKED because until then I was sure I was going to buy a Gixxa 1000 because the B-King, while looking AMAZING compared to anything else around it was going to be too expensive. When the dealer told me about the deal I HAD to test ride it and knew within 300m that I was going to buy it. The biggest surprise was how well it steered and cornered for such a big bike - better than the Gixxa 1000 imo. And then to have so much power to roll on, I was instantly hooked and haven't looked back.

Anyhow, it's had the tail tidy treatment but that's it! I am keen for it to sound nicer though so if anyone can recommend some slip pipes that sound and also LOOK good for the B-King, I'm all ears.

Here's a pic...

Cheers,
Kris!

Welcome mate! cheers
Glad you've found the forum, it really is a great place with a lot of great members and info on the the B-King! thumbs up 2

As far as exhausts go, do you like the stock look or are you after a different look?

If you like the stock look and just want a better note:

If your want a different look, have you seen the Zard system:

I don't mind the stock look but I love the look of the Yoshi ovals...

Just don't know anywhere in Australia that sells them. Most only have the TRC "triangle" ones which I think look crap.

I have only seen one member post pics of his B-King with those.

You've seen the dual ovals?
http://www.suzukib-king.org/b-king-talk-f1/my-b-king-with-great-pipes-t976.htm

Either of these would have to be purchased through the UK or Europe.

Took me a bit but I found that member with the pipes you want:
http://www.suzukib-king.org/b-king-gallery-f2/belgian-king-t1055.htm
On the second page he offers for people to order them through him for 650€ + shipping.

That depends what your after.
Some of the guys like the Z1000 mirrors which bolt straight on:
http://www.suzukib-king.org/mods-aftermarket-place-f4/kawi-z1000-mirrors-t1471.htm

Some people like the bar end mirrrors:
http://www.suzukib-king.org/mods-aftermarket-place-f4/oberon-bar-end-mirrors-t681.htm

http://www.suzukib-king.org/mods-aftermarket-place-f4/bar-end-mirrors-crg-vs-oberon-t1171.htm

Some like the Rizoma mirrors:
http://www.suzukib-king.org/product-reviews-f14/rizoma-mirrors-anyone-t2392.htm

Personaly I like the bar ends, I have the oberon streetfighter 60mm flat glass mirrors but since I bought them they have released 75mm convex glass which are probably a bit better but I am happy with the ones I have.
I bought from:

You can also get a set of these bar end mirrors for just over $20 shipped. At checkout enter coupon code D2M2008 and get 15% off. Should put the total around $23 depending on your shipping costs for both mirrors.
