would like to do the 9.8 just lowered with no wheelie bars & STD length Swing Arm

ran 9.86 on a GSXR1000 K7 @ 148mph lowered 1 extra link and slip on with tune , 168hp 88ftlbs

9.48 on a K8 Busa @ same MPH , same mods 174hp , 105ftlbs

I reckon the king would be good for a 9.50 with the same stuff done to it , it has a longer swing arm and more rake than he busa so it should launch harder (best 60 was 1.58)

Best 60ft 1.53, I hope brocks ultra mod and cushin gets me into the 1.4s. Not as good aero on the king so not as good making up on the big end, 60ft is key for me. Bar, and riding gear puts me @ 265lbs. I will go stk wheel base more this year for fun and run stk gearing. Clutch will be much better for that now, hope it does not slip much once fully engaged WOT.

Just talked to out local NHRA track to try to schedule more all bike days this year too. I bracket mainly against cars........gotta git the f out way quick.

to get to Heathcote our nearest 1/4 miler at the moment to do this

my pro stocker ran 1.20 to 60 LP was more fun than sex......and thats no joke.....

Yea the drag strips can be at a premium. Our NHRA track is an hour south, no big deal for me but our Canadian friends drive down as far as 12 hours away to run the all bike days.

It is addictive and as much as I enjoy the king at the strip, I have started to rat hole some cash away for a much faster drag bike.............and yea it is better than sex

I can't wait to get into the 9's.. bought my King in Aug 09 and after getting the break in miles, took it to the track with some friends. couldn't believe the money some of the other guys were spending to get even close to where the King is stock.. have some videos on youtube.. search "b-king 1/4" and you find em under my sign on "joeker024" fastest time so far is a 10.32 @133.95 mph but like I said.. bone stock. hope to but some yoshis on this year but lets face it.. Really don't neeeeeed more power..lol
