| The next Superbike Supply Shootout held at Willowbank will be on Saturday the 13th of December with gates opening at 12.30pm. http://motoaus.com/race/drag-racing/shootout.html Not 100% sure if I will be there, its very close to flying back to the UK date. Any other Brissy guy's interested ? |

| I'll probably go, but the family is flying back to the uk on the 17th, so they wont be happy. Spose I will have to get a bit of practice in beforehand, and a crash diet wouldn't go amiss as well. |

| Hey guys.
I'm a virgin to the drag racing thing, but am thinking about going out Wednesday night for a test n tune.
Since I havn't done it before can you suggest what gear is best at the start line (1st will probably flip the bike if you go gung-ho, and 2nd might be a but doughy)
With my weight (100kg) I don't think I will pull any special times but the bike has a few modifications eg TRE, Power commander, 2 Brothers pipes, drag bars, etc.
Usually I get the bike rolling before I 'gun it' on the road. Would be a bit embarrassing if I flipped it or stalled it on the streets. When it is rolling then I go full throttle its a hard bike to hang onto.
Might see someone there on Wednesday (ask if someone can take a pic for me). |

| well, I was the only bking there, the bike felt really flat. I normally run between 137 and 140 mph, but today it was only 131 to 132mph. It was 35 degrees and 98% humidity so maybe that was the problem. I did 9 runs total, with a best time of 10.557. It started to rain so they stopped at 4 instead of 4:30, and I got soaked on the way home, the rain was warm tho' |

| Tony, I would have been there but I also seen the weather forcast and pulled out.
Don't like riding in the rain at the best of times. If I knew I could get in 9 runs I might have been persueded. Early in the new year I hope to get out for a teat n tune. |
