With the installation of a Brocks system, what exactly do you do with the EXUP valve and actuator?

Please contact my sales staff with your exact shipping address and they can help you out.
We ship to Australia on a daily basis. Sales@BrocksPerformance.com

For a new wheel set purchase in Australia we would point you to the BST distributor and we would not be able to sell to you.

Since the wheels in our clearance line are not new, it would be no problem to sell and ship them to you.

Brock
www.BrocksPerformance.com

ps. There is only a minimal amount of filing required during the installation of an ultra clutch mod. The stock back torque limiter makes all Hayabusa's and B-King's nearly impossible to launch from a dead stop. I believe you will be very happy with the clutch feel of your bike after the installation of our clutch mod. Please keep us posted.

I don't see video links?

Please forward your incremental numbers 60ft/330/1/8 mile ET 1/4 mile ET.

Don't get me wrong.... you can go down the drag strip with anything, but can you go down it quickly is the question?

That's where our parts are designed to shine.

FYI: I can show you photos of Hayabusa's with a larger rider who yanked the transmission shaft out of his engine during a dead stop launch with the stock clutch components because of all the chattering and bucking associated.

Of course, if you spin the tire off of the line this doesn't happen because there is no traction to allow the limiter to ramp... but you can't obtain a proper ET if you're spinning either.

Thanks Brock.
So the BST you are selling are not new?
I would not buy them here down under since it seems like the importer does not pass on the current exchange rates in favor of the Australian $ at the moment.
I might even install a low pressure blower for just a bit more $ which would easily compensate for the benefits of the wheels (except in the bends).
I will keep you posted about the clutch mod after I`ve been to the drag strip in 2 weeks, hopefully it can make me a better rider.

Do you mind showing the shaft filing in some pics?

Also, when you file on the shaft, does it make it where you cant put the stock slipper clutch back on?

Basically meaning is this a permanent modification?

I am mostly a twisty rider but head to the drag strip about once a month on Test & Tune nights......Would like to swap out the torque limiters when I go to the strip......can this be done?

Thanks Brock. I run an ultr soft with limited slip once brought to temp.
end season dra vids is my post, also 9.800 time slip post is mine. The clutch is sensative but I do ride it out during launch. I am concerned that your mod will cause more slip and longer ET, your thoughts.

The clutch mod made the launch smoother somehow.
Had 15 runs and it took me a while to realize that there was no need to rev it hard to launch, for me it worked best with just a few grand revs but maybe for a good rider it is better to rev a bit?
I got way better times with just little revs, still the best was only 10.44, must be doing something wrong, maybe lower it and strap it will make a difference?
Must be lot of good riders out there that can manage low 10`s or even into the 9`s!
Cheers.

Best before was 10.59 and yes I used stock springs, more practice means better times as well, did 7 runs 1st time and my last time at the drag racing I did 15 runs.
With clutch mod it did feel better though.

rogue007,

Sorry for the late reply, I missed your post above somehow?

The ultra-mod is not a permanent instillation. 95% of our customers leave the ultra-mod in place for the twisties (Deals Gap, track days etc.) But, you can always reinstall your stock back torque limiter if you like. We pride ourselves in OEM replacement components here at Brock’s and try our hardest not to create any components which cannot be exchanged back for stock components at any time.

Please see our ultra-mod instructions here: http://www.brocksperformance.com/Instructions/Hayabusa/S13-CM-ULTRA.doc

The input shaft is staked/dimpled at the factory as an added safety measure. FYI: I have been building engines and racing motorcycles for over 25 years and I have never had an issue with any clutch hub nut ever vibrating loose when properly torqued. I have never re-staked an input shaft. It is a very simple job which consists of filing down the raised area with a common hand file. Usually, the dimple is not even raised enough to become an issue. This is why our instructions state that you MIGHT have to file it. You will know immediately; since our ultra-mod has closer tolerances than stock, the unit won't slide over the input shaft if the dimple rises above the surface. We place a shop rag under the input shaft (to catch any shavings etc.) and gently file the raised area until the ultra-mod slides over the shaft smoothly.

Let me know if you have any additional questions,

Brock
