South Florida drags in December

Planning ahead for an evening at Palm Beach International Raceway...test and tune...$25...5pm-midnight. Can go on either Wed the 16th of Dec or Fri the 18th Dec. Any of you Miami guys interested? How about it Maxxedout2...Highway...??? You boys need to come up and play on the 1/4.

O boy this sounds good, Friday would be good for me, I almost have my Busa ready for the track just waiting on my Brock sidewinder but the Kig is always ready....
I think Friday the 18th will be the ticket...

Get him Highway...don't let him off that easy! We'll tentatively plan for the 18th and firm things up as the date gets nearer. Hopefully it'll turn unusually cold and we'll see some 60 degree air. LOL

I will be on him like flys on %$#&, lol... It will be blast to have at least 3 Kings there.
I have not been to that track sence it changed names, guys tell me its a waaaay better track then before...

Yes, the entire complex looks brand new and the track is really nice. Another big change is the parking is all hard surface. Will you be riding the bike to the track?

Yes I will be riding it... Now I am excited all hard surface me like that.. I am also setting up a Busa all stock small air box mod, BMC filter (race), and a lowered streched and Brocks sidewinder, its a 2000 but looks really nice got it from a friend who needed money...

I got a PCIIIUSB comming for the King and a BMC filter and I plan on an air box mod, I think I will have this done before the 12/18 than I have a better chance of a decent time I am a little on chunky side 300 in gear, I know big boy... Hey but I am cute... lol!

The reason I ask if you'd be riding is I realize full leathers in South Florida can be a hot ride! I assume you know full leathers and deadman switch is required on 1/4 mile. I'll have trailer, tools, drinks, etc.

Yep I got a kill switch, leather Jacket and pants, just got the pants on e-Bay... My girlfriend will follow me in her car, I keep a small tool box and the leathers and will put them on when I get there.

When we went to the 1/8 mile the best I did was 7.24 @ 106 MPH,
Whats the best you done in the 1/4 mile on your B-King?

It runs consistent mid 10's in 85-90 degree air. I'm anxious to see how it does in cooler air.

7.24 what you think that would be in the 1/4 give or take???

I'd guess lower to mid 11's. There's a hundred pounds difference between us and on a good launch I see 6.80's in an 1/8 @apx109mph...Stock B-King

What RPM are you shifting at??

1st to 2nd at 10k...others at 10250. If we get some really cool air I think you'll see some good numbers.
