| Arkansas has some great roads, but here in Iowa we have huge potholes, uneven roads, gravel roads, busted up roads- yeah pretty much shitty roads, but I do get to go south once a year.
Wisconsin has some nice roads to |

| Good video, sound, photography. I don't own a B-King yet, have two bikes (Magna/Bandit) currently for sale on Birmingham Alabama Craigslist in order to buy a King being held. I do ride a Honda VFR 800 99 Interceptor so am familiar with the twisties. It seemed like you were keeping your bike one gear too low in the first half of your video. I kept thinking, why is he down in that gear and holding it? Then, finally, you made it to 6th, and from then on, when you shifted, mostly down to 5th or 4th and once to 3rd, it felt right. I love the sound of my V-4 all wound up, but I avoid keeping it geared down on a road like the one you were on in order to save the engine a little. My bike has so much torque, as does yours, it doesn't seem necessary. We don't need to ride like we are on a 600. So, this is not, absolutely not a criticism, just wondering, was it me, or were you deliberately running a gear low in the first part? I am in Alabama, so maybe we will meet one day. Hang onto the King, I think they will be collector's items as time goes by. Saw one or two in the new Transformers movie, hard to spot, but there if you look hard. Supposedly it is one of the bots, but there is so muchhappening in that movie that I never saw it make the transition. Thanks for the video. I found one on YouTube that is about 10 minutes long where the guy is running on the left side of the road and making continuous passes in traffic. |

| According to Motocycle Consumer News, the B-King runs a top end of 158 in FOURTH gear. Fifth is 154 and Sixth is 152. They said the computer is programmed to limit the revs because there is no fairing like on the 'Busa. It will allow the highest revs in fourth. They also said the speedometer read several miles per hour fast, like 10. I don't have the mag in front of me so forget the actual speedometer error readings. |

| Oh, by the way, I am getting 48 to 50 MPG on my King. How? By shifting UP. There is no need to be running around town all day in 2nd or 3rd gear just so you can hear the engine rev. There is so much torque on the King, that fifth or 6th will still move pretty guick with just a little twist. If you need lower, just a simple click away. Also, just think, your engine might last a little longer. |

This is common knowledge, and lot's of guys here run speedo healers and xtre's so those numbers don't mean too much....but anything over 130 is going to try and push you off the back of the bike anyway, lol. |

The powers that be have hissy fits over videos like this posted on sites. (tough).
Everybody speeds, its all about enjoying the performance of your chosen machine at the right time and in the right place, to experience the buzz you get riding a big bike.
The video shows the B-King at home on a fast sweeping smooth surface road, the B-King handles exceptionally well for a 230kg bike.
Cheers. | j-Utah is that from Point Break? great movie...
