PostSubject: Bking wheel part #'s   December 24th 2009, 00:07

I'm checking part #'s on Ron Ayers.com. It seems that there are two sets of part numbers for Bking front and rear wheels and a few other related parts. For instance: REAR WHEEL (GSX1300BKAK8) and the alternate part # is REAR WHEEL (GSX1300BKK8). This is for the same model year there are just 2 listings.

While checking this I realized that the Bking part number for the rear wheel GSX1300BKK8 is the same as the GEN II Busa. However the GSX1300BKAK8 is different.

So the question is what is the difference between the BKAK8 and the BKK8 designation? Is this a Canadian part number or a European number perhaps. Anyone know what the difference is?

One is ABS would be my guess.

Lefty is right, the BKK is non ABS and is the one identical to Gen II busa. The rotors are the same too.

On the rear wheel, everything on the brake side is the same, on the sprocket side there are a couple different numbers in the sprocket carrier spacers.
