Hi, just joined- cool forum!- Bought an 08' B-king in April pretty much as soon as I got to my new hometown in San Diego and I guess I didn't realize they should have given me the cowl when I bought it- Don't mind if it's black or silver because I plan on painting it pretty soon... I am also really interested in the evotech fender-eliminator, but I'll probably just have to find that on ebay or somthing.. Thanks!

Welcome!!! I see the seat cowls pop up regularly on ebay and most go really cheap. I'm contemplating painting mine also probably some style two-tone just undecided on how I'm gonna do it. I need some inspiration!!! Sad

What did the dealer told you? Are they just out of it? If so, have you tried to contact American Suzuki about it? There head quarter is not too far from San Diego, perhaps take a short ride to Brea?

Since the cowl is not an optional item, Suzuki should be able to give you one for free at the very least just for buying a bike from them....

Yeah, I guess I figured it was optional when I bought the bike and now that I realized they should have gave it to me with the bike, I have no proof I didn't get at the time of purchase... But I'll go back to the dealer (Or maybe even Amercan Suzuki HQ if I see a cool route) and hope someone's feeling generous... By the way- as far as painting it I was thinking about doing everything silver in pearl white and everything dark in gloss black (Kinda like that 2010 scheme, but a little different) sound cool?
