hello
the b-king is a excellant machine, , ive been riding motorcycles over 30 years, mainly 1000cc plus suzukis , so i have a little experience, at this time a suzuki gsx1400 would be a ideal machine for me, a excellant mixture of old suzuki style and modern engineering.

cheers davey

Good choice Davey.

A B-King is NOT a "better" bike, no bike is.

The B-King is great in some area's and poor in others.

The 1400 has classic Old Skool looks, better comfort,
leg room, tank range, and is way better for pillions and
luggage, nicer to work on and costs less.

The B-king will kill one on performance and brakes,
although a good rider on a 14 will hunt down Joe Average
on a B-King if he's not on his game,
... but I suppose you already know that !

Good luck with the bike-hunting,
I look forward to seeing what you get.

Tony.

One of the older Suzukis that I still wanna own is the GS with shaft drive.. It just goes and goes....
Would be great to see the old relyable mixed with the new technology... A GS 1400 in modern styling with a shaft and Busa capacity with King torque...
But yeah, the Road King is a great bike, if only Suzuki mixed it up a bit more, comfort with the low maintenance of being shaft driven.. Hopefully they will produce that one day...

Hi Davey,
I'm selling my 1400 at the moment.
She's a 2007 FE with all the right bits fitted to make her run like she should.
I posted it up un the UK section a week or so ago but if you are interested drop me a pm and we can talk / email.

I have been out quite a bit recently but nothing too adventurous.
I took the 1400 in to work today just to give it a run but as yet not a peep.

We have a big bike rally up here this weekend so I'm thinking of taking the 1400 and putting a 'For Sale' sign on it to gauge interest.

Now that the sun is making a comeback I'd expect things to perk up a bit for bike sales.

As for the roads....Some good and some in disrepair but above average I think.
